Weekly Market: The Data That Matter

In this week's market update... The Stock market experienced a downturn: S&P 500 and Nasdaq declined by -1.4% . The REIT sector was down by -3.9% . The Total International Stock Index was down by -3.4% . The Bond market had a mixed performance: The 10-Year bond recorded a decrease of -0.8% . The 2-Year bond saw a slight increase of +0.2% , resulting in a steeper yield curve of -0.97%  -- a level not seen since August 1981. The Commodity Index was down by -2.8% : Crude Oil prices experienced a significant drop of -3.2% .
